Characters that play a role in S’iew Maih’s life. They are my own and do not exist in the game. This page will be expanded as I add more stories.

Lowa Maih (Mother)

Lowa Maih was a woman who chose her own life—and paid for that choice with both joy and loss.

Born into a Keeper of the Moon tribe, she was raised with independence as instinct rather than ideal. She was steadfast, sharp-eyed, and deeply practical, the sort of woman who measured people by their actions and had little patience for empty promises. Like many Keepers, she was adamant about choosing a male on her own terms—if she chose one at all.

Then she met S’ojun Tia.

Against her expectations, and to the quiet shock of her tribe, Lowa fell in love. Not with a vision of security or status, but with a man who listened, laughed easily, and spoke often of the sea. When she chose him, she chose completely—leaving her tribe behind to follow him to La Noscea, determined to build a future that belonged to them alone.

Life in La Noscea

Aleport was not gentle to newcomers, but Lowa adapted quickly.

She hunted when she could, her Keeper instincts translating seamlessly into coastal survival. She crafted small trinkets—simple jewelry, carved charms, woven cords—and sold them alongside her tavern work to supplement their income. Nothing flashy. Everything useful. Everything made with care.

After S’ojun’s death, Lowa did not break.

She worked longer shifts at the tavern overlooking the harbor, hands aching, feet sore, returning home long after dark. She hunted less often, saving her strength for what mattered most: keeping her daughter fed, clothed, and smiling.

She resisted letting S’iew work at the tavern at first. Too young. Too harsh a place. But when coin grew tight, and S’iew insisted with the same stubborn spark her parents shared, Lowa relented—on one condition.

They would work together.

Those evenings became something precious. Between spilled drinks and weary sailors, Lowa taught S’iew quiet lessons: how to read a room, how to spot trouble before it started, how to smile without surrendering ground. In return, S’iew’s laughter eased the long nights, reminding Lowa why she had chosen this life in the first place.
